Default How do the Factory lip(optional sides) Mount if (dealer installed)

Im makeing this topic because im possibly buying a set of optional sides from someone. They told me these were dealer installed when they were available.

QUESTION: How Did the dealer mount these to the body? He said I would have to remove them because he couldnt figure outr how to get them off.

I know on the s2000 sidespiece they drill a hole in the quater pannel for the part to stay ahered tight to the body.

Does the optional lip kit where it flares up at the quater attach to the quater by a hole dilled?

I hope not because if it is, im sure he wont want to sell them if theres a hole there.

nope there is no hole there where it flares up at the back. the sides are mounted onto the stock side skirt and then installed on.
