If thats exspensive then you don't have much options. With that kind of power you really shouldn't have any problems. Try driving the car better. Preload the driveline. I had about 240-260 whp and slicks going mid 11's with alot of 1.6-1.7 60ft's and never broke a stock axel.

With your set up you shouldn’t need to get “racing” axles. Like 2.0 Coupe said try pre loading the drive train before you launch the car. I don’t know if you are using drag radials, but if you are your tire pressure might be to low causing the tires to bite a little too much. All in all what I’m saying is try doing a few things differently before you go out and spend a decent amount of money on unneeded parts.

i dont know about the whole motor mount deal, i break alot of axles too at about 150 whp but have never broken one at launch, i always break them on the 1-2 shift. i have checked my mounts again and again, and they are fine. i do not however understand WHY i break them, everyone says check your mounts check your mounts, and i have. anymore ideas on this.

also might want to check the alignment of the axles, if the car is lowered the axle might be at the wrong angle causing too much stress. Try using a camber kit

i think u are breaking axels because your driving the car correctly. they should break if ur shifting hard, at least autozone ones do,

find some OEM axles and u should be ok....

do you think your motor mounts dont do anything when you are shifting??????????

You need solid mounts that wont whip your drivetrain around when you are shifting hard.
