Default Oil orifices in the head- question

I keep on disassembling my H22 head and there are two oil orifices. One sticks more than the other. I have marked them not to confuse them later. In my description the one sticking less is on the exhaust side of head. Then I took a look at Helms and it looked on the picture that this one should be on the intake side.

Anyone can tell my which is which then?

Oh good lord, I think I also know what you're talking about, but can't remember which. It's been a while since I monkeyed around in my H22 head...

so it looks like the taller one goes on the intake side and the shorter on the exhaust side.

I'm fairly certain the Helm's is backwards. I ran into this when I was building my race engine way back when. I damaged one of the oil control orifices installing them as shown in the Helm's.

Summing things up: the one sticking less goes to the exhaust side, the other one to the intake side.
Thanks

correct those are the ones for the rockers or balance shafts not sure at the moment ,those get used in the h22 the oil orfice that is not used on the h22 motor is the orifice that is in the block (on th deck) between the head and block matting area
