What other mods on the accord? That's a pretty decent tq number at a low rpm.

Does that header fit on stock exhaust? I'm looking at getting something high quality in the near future and I think the smsp is too expensive.

Looks like a tie to me... at some rpm's the RMF gains, at some it loses.

Thanks for sharing the results RMF. Looks like a nice piece, but wasn't this particular piece custom?

"Decent" torque huh? lol. If you notice the little details on the bottom of the chart you will see that it is an Accord with TWM individual throttle bodies and the name "Byers." I suggest that you look up user "2point6" for details on his setup.

Why cant manifold builders ever test their manifolds on stock motors? afraid they wont make power without ITBs?

Is this RMF vs. h22 header? JDM tubular manifold??

What does the use of ITBs have to do with a header test?

Looks like both headers performed really well to me. Personally, if the torque of the sms could go with the hp of the rmf.

How long does it usually take you to fabricate one once it's ordered? And how long does it take for the purchaser to receive the product?

I knew it was an accord and that it had ITB. I didnt recognize the name Byers, but I have hear of 2point6...isnt that the 4th gen prelude that runs 9's or something? And what, 170lbs of tq at 2800rpms is not that good for a Honduh¿ I thought so.

eidt: oh wait, is that 170flywheel tq........someone shoot me.

It is not flywheel. It is measured at the hub. You can go to the Dynapack website and learn more about the actual dyno if you wish.

I put "decent" in quotes since almost no H22s make 170ft/lbs peak let alone at 2800rpm. So it his torque is actually really nice.

Mr. Byers runs Collective Racing in Arizona. He is one of the highest horesepower NA H-series I know of.

2point6 has a 4th gen Accord. He runs low 12's in the 1/4. Of course that is not at sea level so that is something different.

ahh, cool thanks for the "learnin"

I don't know much about dyno's but right on the side of the dynosheet it said flywheel so I just figured it was that.

That is impressive for an NA H22. I have an H22 (5th gen prelude) and I know they are not the greatest cars off the line.

this is no normal h22, scott runs a 97.x mm stroke i belive, so with more than 6mm of stroke on a normal h22 and with a displacement around 2.44 i wouls say that 170ft/lbs is expected

looks like the rmf header evend out the hilly tq curve, i like it, from mid range and up its seems to out perform the "h22 header" are we to asume that was a stock usdm h22 header?

nice delivery, im impressed with both really . im imoressed with the bottom and mid on the rmf . considering every one says that 4-1 cant make low end , but also the smsp has an impressive top end for a 4-2-1

but the fact that its not a one of custom should get peoples attention

Nice numbers, 2point6 has always built to impress.

But back on topic - what is the purpose of this post? I mean, nice numbers, nice header...but how are we supposed to get any good information out of this post without at least a base header name so we know what we're comparing it against?
