gsr cams for b16 turbo

gsr cams for b16 turbo
i was told that gsr cams would be the best for a b series that was in the works for a turbo. i just wanted to know if there was any truth to this or if there is a better option.

They are said to be the best OE VTEC B series cams for turbo. I researched here a while back.
When I sold my car, I had to remove my CTR cams and swap the GSR's back in because the new owner is turboing it.

That's good. I'll be putting another CTR cam in a local guys B16, who is also turboing it. He also had the debate about GSR or ITR cams. On H-T you see alot of people using the GSR cams, but I think the biggest reason is $$. I bought my GSR cams for $100 (pair used) v/s $240 CTR/01+ITR intake cam brand new in the Honda box. I guess the only way to get a good solid answer is for someone to swap cams on a dyno.

I have GSR cams I'm putting in my B16, but I have read that ITR are better since they have a little overlap. I have seen dyno charts of a b16 with stock cams versus the samemotor/setup with gsr cams and it made a good bit morepower...if I Can find the old thread I'll link you..

you can make just as much power with the gsr cams as itr's for the money they are the best oem turbo cams....
