i only know how to do this on EK and DC clusters...never taken a EG cluster apart before, i assume theyre similar once you open them up...just gotta remove the speedo from the cluster, remove the needle, then the face...theres a pin that holds 4 or 5 small star shaped plastic pieces that aid in rolling the odometer...you have to remove one side carefully so that the plastic stars are not making contact with the odometer...once youve done this, they roll freely...so set the mileage, then return the pin back in place, and backwards assemble everything...

pull straight off! do not bend or pull to one side, you may break the small shaft the needles are stuck onto.... ask me how I know

rolling mileage back is easy, just take th ecluster apart, use patience too, and spreading the washer/clips apart will help you roll back one number roll at a time until they all read '0'.
