Too bad it spins the wrong way. It would probably swap into the most recent chassis though.

Wouldn't it fit in a 2001+ civic. There has to be some that are forsale with high miles.

 

Actually all of these new K-series engines spin the right way. Honda engines up till last year all spin the wrong way, which we're all use to.

Hasport just bought a 2001 Civic anmd they're swapping an rsx type-s motor in there. Locash saaid they're going to make mount kits for the swap. They're going to release a write up in SCC when they are done.

 

no no no...you misunderstood.
K-series engines spin the correct way, as in clockwise, not counterclockwise.

 

haha Hasport SmashPort.....They say alot of things that they dont keep there promise too. they told me almost the same thing, but it was an ek w/H22 swap and it was supposed to come out in SCC along time ago too, 4 months later..........nothing oh and by the way my radiator fan still dont come on, changed the thermo swithc thermostat and still nothing...oh did i mention they did my wiring harness?
and as far as there replacement for the ek mount....you guessed it!!! NOTHING
