Vafc Hook up question?
Have a apexi in my car and I lost the wire harness that the unit hooked into >>>Can i hardwire directly from the controller into the ecu ???? Has anyone done this ??? any suggestions?
Yes, that's how i wired mine up. But you don't wire it in the ECU, you wire it to the wires that are before the plug on the ECU harness. Strip the wire, tap in the VAFC wires according to the diagram. Use shrinking tubes to isolate the wires. Looks much cleaner.
ok 3 questions
1. should I run the apexi to the ground wires on the ecu or run them to the body of the car ?
2. How do I run the vtec solinoid input / output and
preasure input /and output ..... I dont understand how you wire the input and output differently ? DO i have to cut the wire to make it and input output or how do i go about knowing the difference >?
thanks a lot ......

Ok from your posts i see that you're clueless at what you doing. There is a ground wire in your harness.
Do you have the diagram from the APEXI website?
It tells you exactly which wire goes into which pin. Yes you cut the orginial wires and tap the APEXI wires in.

.... Yea I installed it and it works. When I started the car for the first time I was holding my breath that it would work . I knew that the ecu had a ground but i didnt know if that was what i was suppose to tap into that or not . Thanks for your help .
