TPS code problems
First off, yes ive searched but havent gotten an answer that works.
Ok, 93 hatch running a jdm gsr motor, ITR IM, and a p28 ecu. Had to replace the tps sensor cuz the one on the motor was broke. Replaced it with a known good one and threw a code 7. I knew it was off so i got a voltmeter and adjusted it today. Set it to .45 at idle and 4.55 at wot. I then turned the car off, unhooked the battery for 15 minutes, started the car and let it idle for about 15 minutes, turned it off, turned it back on, and the code is still there. Took it out for a drive and it idles fine, runs fine, pulls hard, etc. Just still have the code. All the wiring is correct because the harness worked fine on the motor that I pulled out and I didnt have to run any extra wires for this motor other than a knock sensor.
Anyone have any idea how to clear this code off? Or is there something I'm doing wrong? I've checked everything that all the posts I searched recommended and still got nothing. TIA for any help.

will this code prevent vtec from kicking in?</TD></TR></TABLE>
It shouldnt prevent vtec from kicking in. On my car it was way off(.01 at idle, 3.24 at wot) and when i hit vtec the car would sputter instead of actually hitting vtec. If your car does that then thats normal if its way off. The ecu doesnt know wtf to do or how much gas to give the car so it basically sends it into limp mode(someone correct me if I'm wrong, this is just what ive found).
Still, anyone out there no how to get rid of this? Ive tested it now, a week later, and its still reading .44 and 4.55 at wot. The car idles a little rough, almost like it has a cam(real lopey). Could this be because of the tps? Should I adjust it higher to see if the idle will correct itself? Or possibly run it lower to smooth it out? I'm lost, any help would be appreciated.
