Default EF8 Warning Light?

I've got a 91 EF8 that flickers a warning light at around 7900 RPM. I have included a picture below with the handy square outline.

Anyone know what this light is?

As far as I can tell it may be a catalytic converter warning light? Can anyone confirm this?

Codes would cause me to throw a CEL would they not?

just buy a piece of tube the length and diameter you need and weld the flanges on. cheap and easy.

any exhaust place could weld a bung to the test pipe and screw it back in.
