Default Compression Ratio! which one is right?

Ok i am building a d16z6 and i thinking about srp pistons and tuner toys rods.

I would like to know what kind of compression ration everyone is running and what is the best for about 350 horse power?

i used to run 8.5.1 SRP's, when i sleeved the block i went to CP 9.1

i think 9.1 is bit better for the street....

i seen a dyno sheet of 10.1 and 9.1 with the same motor and turbo and there is no power difference or spool times at all.

im not saying u r lying or anything, and i may be wrong but that does'nt sound accurate. if this is true, than what gains would there be by raising comp. why not everybody stay 8.0:1 and be safe and run a ton of boost? if i am wrong about this please let me know though. i would like to know the real pros and cons to having raised and lowered comp. if i aint correct.
