1 bend 3inch exhaust???

1 bend 3inch exhaust???
I was thinkin about running the exhaust straight through the tunnel and right under the rear cross member and then making one bend to bring the exausht out on a angle.
has this ever been done and will it work? thanx

you can do it, its just that you'll have very poor ground clearance. you'll also need to insulate the piping under the gas tank

From what I remember, virginia has weird inspections, right?
IMO its not worth it for a '1 bend' exhaust. Go the stock route in 3" and you won't see more than 1HP difference.

myself and 3 other local guys run exhaust in this style. it works fine. ground clearance isn't that bad at all. I have no proof that it makes more power but the less bends the better. It is also hellified easy to build and can be made to slip fit and attached using motorcycle exhaust springs so that you can drive to the track or dyno, jack the car up an in less then 5 minutes drop the exhaust in one peice and run open DP. it also costs less then 200 dollors to build
