Hello H-T, I have a recently purchased a 1996 Civic DX hatchback, It does not have power steering, was power steering an option for the DX in 96? or did they not come with it at all? I am planning on putting my full B16A2 swap out of my 99 Civic Si in the car in a month or so, can I use the power steering from my 99 Si?

If you have the Si rack then I would do it. I believe it will bolt on.

I would suggest just installing the Si rack and then purchasing this https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=563116

This is just an option, but I'm sure you can get it cheaper if you purchase the parts yourself.

btw, if you plan on doing this, I would do it when you take the engine out.
