the rpm should be correct, usually the cluster is off by 200-300 rpm... i used to have a Autometer tach... if the Field read 1000rpm, the gauge cluster was about 1200 and the Autometer at 900... so there is some varience... the DIP switches tells the Field wether is for a honda motor or mitsubishi motor plus turning on/off the speed limiter...

btw: what motor do you have??

i would say your RPM gauge is fucked... cause normaly it only read off after like 6000RPM with like maybe 300 RPM +-

the field just tells you what the ECU are saying.... i would trust the field if you have conneted i the right way...

good luck..

?? where do one fin the field cheapest !?!? i would like one....

LOL .... nice going, same answar...

b-stands for buzzer

0-1 is the percentage +/- fuel at a given rpm range (the the arrow is red, that's increasing fuel (rich)/ if the arrow is green, that's decreasing fuel (lean))

ex: R2-3 is 2% increase in fuel from 3000 to 3999 rpm, G3-4 is 3% decrease in fuel from 4000-4999 rpm

my last settings were: 0-1 thru 0-6, G4-7, G4-8 : VTEC 5800/ Buzzer at 7900 - mods are K&N filter, DC 4-1, and Apex-i WS netted 145whp/101 ft-lb wtq and baseline was 141whp/99 ft-lb wtq

thanks everyone. it really help me to know what's my function are.

i got one more question. does the vtec kik in point goes by the controller and the rpm in the controller
or
do it goes by the gauge cluster. since the controller rpm is below the gauge rpm.
