Werid noise from block or head
Just a quick question to ask you guys, My friend has a 95 gsr, last weekend a strange meta scraping nosie started to appear. NOw every time he starts the car, it has a scrappin noise (metal against metal) comming from the block (driverside mostly) what could this be, (bad block?
Does the frequency increase with rpm? Wheel speed? Stays the same? Does it go away when the car is warmed up to normal operating temperatures?

i had that same problem and i never figure it out,
at idle no noise but when gas was given knocking noise was really loud
at first i thought it was the head so i changed it but it keept doing it,
i took the oil pan off and check if the rod bolts were tight everything was good but if anyone knows what this problem is let us know THANKS
