cleaning my block help...
should i use a wire brush to it or should a degreaser work just fine? any chemicals you guys recommend? i just want it to look factory new before i put it in...
will "simple green" hurt paint. what is a good cleaner to use if you have a white car, and it has greese in the engine bay on the paint. YOu know around where the shock towers are and the fire wall.
thanks
thanks
simple green is the ****
its non toxic and biodegradeable
ive used it on paint
doesnt seem to hurt it
and it works great
i think dishwashing liquid would be worse to use then simple green

I've had good luck with Castrol Super Clean Degreaser spray and a stiff brissle brush/toothbrush. After I got completly done with the degreaser I used some of the Castrol Super Clean Alloy Wheel Cleaner, it left an impressivly clean engine block.
