How does your stock cooling system hold up against boost?
in b3fore page 100. so many threads like this. most need an upgraded can and radiator. that is all
blew my single core plastic end caps off at like 200whp. i had a headgasket problem and pushed boost through the cooling system though

knock on wood
i run a koyo aluminnum radiator with a FAL fan dual core...(from the civic/del sol) modify into my dc2...i notice a significant change with the FAL fan i believe it flows 1200cfm...was pricey but well worth it...

I running a del sol radiator with one fan. My car is turboed with mid size intercooler and running ac system. I had no problem with over heating in the summer hot day a couple months ago. I had try 2 different fans before. One over heated my engine and one kept my engine running without over heating. BTW, I'm running a Mr. Gasket fan.

Same here... I ran a stock radiator with NO FAN for a while....no problems.
Not only that but I'm on a reused headgasket. 20+runs at the track no coolant issues. As far as im concerned, metal's metal. ARP headstuds though.
D series @ ~9-10psi

yeah a single core is probably the best way to go....... a friend of mine threw this koyo away because it cloged after 600 miles.... and is now running a single core and it keeps it cooler
I am also running b18b in my EG with anywhere from 7-14 pounds of boost and I have yet to have any cooling problems even on hot summer days.
I don't know.. With the stock eg radiator, I was fucked 100% of the time, so I put in an integra one, and haven't had musch problems since. Stock headstuds and cometic gasket 10ft/lbs over. Just sucking air somewhere I think, knock on wood
jump the fan so its always on...the thermostat housing has a plug coming from it its 2 wires either splice into those two wires and connect or get a piece of wires strip them and place into the slots and the fan should turn right on when your ignition is on...been running mine like that for days...
It depends on the tempature where you live....all these people that say they dont have overheating problems may be going by the cluster gauge.....
The factory gauge will not read past halfway till 240 degrees ..........in the hot summer here in miami my temps get pretty high with a fluidyne half core and 2 huge fans
The bigger the radiator you can fit the better....
