Default power issues

hey i am having a problem with a power type surge. When the car warms up at low rpms and slowing down the lights on the dash get dim, but when i hit the gas again it get bright. Then go back to normal untill loss of speed again.

Does this sound like a battery or alternator issue or something else? I had both checked out and they seemed to be fine.

My guess would be the alternator. You had them tested and they said it was fine?

I sound like you alternator and battery issue. If they are fine then ......

1) Check your alternator belt. Make sure them tight.

2) Double check all the ground wire.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but an alternator has like 3 coils inside. If one goes bad, it will cause those types of problem, even though your car is working and running okay.

If two goes bad, it's not enough to recharge the battery, and your car will die out.
