Well, my Accorn is finally back on the road. Just a few small things to fix.
My question is this... The bracket for the vacuum lines (the one in the middle runs from the intake to the valve cover if that gives you a better idea of which bracket I'm speaking of).... I know the top line runs off to the right and to the fuel rail, where does the other side connect???
We swapped the engine and hooked everything back up, started her and she started idleing funny (jumping from 1k to 2k). So it's definitely a vacuum leak. The one I mentioned above, we could not find. Where is the line leading to the left side of that bracket???

yay the accorn!!
the vacuum line you speak of, one side is connected to the FPR (correct?) the other side goes to the intake manifold.
or are you talking about the one that actually goes to the intake manifold connection at the head? That goes to the IACV on the back of the intake manifold, and if that's off you will definitely get an idle surge.
What motor is now in the accorn?

American Honda, in conjunction with Honda Motors of Japan and their local dealers wish to announce the mid-year introduction of the (What the F...k year is This?) Honda Accorn. Designed specifically for the automotive NUT, it's original introduction was delayed because of Squirrelly Handling Characteristics, and an uncanny resemblance to an Oak Seed.
Honda expects the Accorn to start sprouting up in dealerships by the holidays.
End Press Release

Stock F22B1. I'm done going fast. She's gonna be a JDM ***** now
I'd rather have a reliable car than a fast one.
Just noticed another spot where there is no vacuum hose hooked up. Back of the intake mani, far right side (theres "nipples" for about 6 vacuum lines). The top one doesn't have a line, where does that go to??

Accorn was intentionall. Common typo around here and it sorta caught on. What I want to know is where can I get some Acorn badges (pic of an acorn instead of the [H])

I agree. I've never seen someone write "Accorn". Then again, I haven't been on here much lately. oh well, doesn't really matter, I just thought P_Adams "Press Release" was funny.

Accorns, the Honda for nuts. That would be cool, then you would know who to watch out for. They would have to make the body easy to recognize from a distance. Big accorn badges on all four sides.
I figure that when it's introduced at the Detroit Auto Show, the Honda Accorn will make quite an impression. What with it's rounded body style, the roof-line which resembles a crusty Beret with a stem sticking out of the middle; it should turn quite a few heads.
The only drawback which Honda found during development were continual complaints from engineers about teams of squirrels trying to bury it while parked overnight.

if its the smaller vaccum line that runs from the intake air tube itself then it goes to the fia control valve, if its the one from the egr then if runs to the egr control valve, but its kinda hard to explain i guess but if you have an oem hood simply look at the vaccum hose routing diagram, its good stuff

LMAO!! good stuff P!
not sure what section of the I/M has a spot for 6 vacuum lines? Must be an F22 thing. Try capping it off if you can't figure out where it goes, see if that makes a difference.

Another problem... I have water leaking from the driver's side of the engine
I figure it's the water pump, but water was splashed up on the right side of the valve cover/head right beneath it. Would a bad pump cause water to splash up there???

Do you still have your upper and lower timing belt covers on the side of your motor? If not, the coolant could leak onto the timing belt and get thrown up to the head/valve cover area, I suppose, as it go up and around the cam gear. Just a thought.
