I just installed my Skunk2 catback, and went for a test drive, and noticed a funny smell. I'm assuming that it's since the muffler is so new, but I want to make sure. Also, is it gonna kill me if I dont use the gasket between the down pipe and the cat? The one skunk gave me wouldnt fit, and my stock system didnt have one. I'll post up some pics when the sun comes out

 

It's the fiberglass packing burning in. Dont worry, it will go away.

 

don't worry about the gasket if you're using the full cat-back.
unless you have a leak.
