I just swapped decks in my 92 vx and now i have no sound. The only thing that happens is the speakers crackle. The replacement deck is a pioner deh3600. IT shows its playing fine and everything, but not matter how loud i turn it up the speakers just crackle. I just pulled an alpine flip screen out today and everythingworked fine up to that point.

I triple checked all my wires and connections and it all looks good. I have it grounded under the dash. What could be causing this ? No music out of any speaker, just crackling.

if i leave it on, there is still noise in teh speakers even when the car/deck are off??????

 

you might have a grounded speaker wire or the radio is bad
