Default Header for a b16a in a 91 civic Si

I was about to put on an JDM ITR header on my b16a but i saw alot of ground clearance issues and breakin other various parts when the car is lowered and with the short blocked b16a. So my question is what is a good 4-2-1 header for this car and engien setup, of course th ITR may have been the most productive but I need one that will also be on the car as a daily driver. TIA

I wouldn't run the JDM DC 4-1 if you have a lowered CRX. My CRX was lowered about 1.5" and I had about 3-4" of ground clearance. I need to take some pics of the header. The bottom 2 tubes were dented in half so badly that it pinched the tubes in half at the flange on the head.

That's one thing a lot of EF/ED JDM engine swappers are facing. There really aren't any exact "BOLT-ON" headers. I'm thinkin about getting a DC JDM 4-1, but the amount of custom work I KNOW will be pricey (2nd O2 bung, custom flange work, and shortening IF I find a shop that can do it). You can eliminate some of this if you have deep enough pockets for a REAL TOP NOTCH HEADER like the BEAUTIFUL SMSP header (I cry everytime I see it!).

i bet you can find a ctr header still a cast manifold but it has a 2.5 collecter that will flow better then a dc header oh yeah it is also the 96 spec itr header that sucks about the 2nd o2 sensor i totally forgot about that with the preobd b16a good thing i have a b18c

What the heck??? CTR came with a cast header??? The CTR Block is the same as ITR/GSR isn't it??? So wouldn't that length suck for us people with lowered smaller blocks???

I used a 94 gsr header i welded the 2 o2 sensor bungs into my header i emulated the stock header as much as i could, concerning o2 sensor locations.Everything worked out pretty well.

gsr header should hang about ~1/2 inch lower..........i put one (DC) 4:1 and have poor clearance with 2 1/2 inch dropped EF
