Well I have been lookking for a project car and got a wild hair up my *** one day. I decided I wanted a CRX. They are light, and parts are all over. I just could not afford what I wanted to do in the Dub world. So the morning I woke up and had this idea, I began to look. Few things were manditory
1. Has to be a 99-91 car
2. cannot be an SI... too heavy
3. car cannot be red or yellow
It took me about 4 hours to locate a car... and what a car it is. A guy here n town... kinda of a hillbilly had it tucked away in his shop. He is a cool guy.. just not a huge car guy in terms of working on them. The car already has a B16 in it, and everything that can be Hassport is... including the shift linkage ect. Sadly there is alteeza tail lights and a rear wing that Boeing would be proud of... ok well maybe not that big... but I do not like it. Another bad thing was the conversation about the inside of the car. He says "well I kinda painted the inside...white". I did not think much of it thinking he painted some trim pieces. I was very wrong... everything is white and the paint is falling off.. even the entire dash. The car also has a stumbling problem at part throttle.. dues the the poopy wiring. I am not too worried about this as I already have SDS engine managment and just need to put it in. The car also needs a new hood and a new drivers side fender. Final prices was 2Gs... he is allowing me to make payments... and that is perfect since I have nowhere to keep it for now. I will take delivery in a few weeks so, in the mean time it is still in his garage.
So far I think I am still keeping the cabby, unless someone maikes me an offer I cannot say no to. I really like VWs but I have so much access to honda parts, so the build will be cheaper by about 3k over what I wanted to do to a MK2 VW.
So in the blessed name of Top Ramen, here are pics

I want it in a low 12... high 11.. I do not think it will be too hard to do with everything and everyone I have access to.
Good price (for me, due to no visible rust), despite the time you'll have to use de-ricing it. My interior came partially painted & falling off too (primer/clearcoat owns ricers). Just get some 16awg wire and splitloom from mcmaster & go to town.

Yeah it is nice... there is some very very light surface rust about half an inch long on the rear wheel well from some tire rub... is not through or anything

gut that ****. I have a 90 dx with only dash, seats, rear side plastic and door panels weighing in at 1900lbs, so I wouldn't even bother trying to locate stock interior pieces.
just wondering, are you on the 'tex? not a bad find, looks nice. rewiring, of course. why are you going with sds? i know it's good, but if nothing's special about the b16, would it really help that much?

That is kinda the plan
My boardname is the same on the tex. I am using SDS cause it does everything I need it too... It is a stand alone just like any other... except it does not need a laptop. And yes... any tuning helps... not to mention I am turbocharging the car and using nitrous... SDS has provisions for that. And on these ANY power is good power... since they are so tempermental to weight.
And as far as my GTI I wrecked it not paying attention to where I was going. ANd I still have my Cabriolet... specs: Shaved head... portwork by F2uning... big *** cam..exh ..cam gear ect ect

Oh no worries... pics of my Dubs here...
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1425684
the white one is gone. But it had a 96 Xflow..SDS engine managment...75 shot of nitrous...short ration tranny...suspenions ect. I only wish I could make a CRX handle like that.
I have been making it a point to sit here and buy anything I may need or want for the car.
