Well.. I am new here. I have built a few cars and now am looking to the CRX as my next project. I have been selling all my VW stuff like crazy to fund the project. I am hoping I can bring some info to the table when it comes to the forum. As time goes you will see some videos I do. here are some samples..
Long Way Home..http://media.putfile.com/Patri...g-vid
Dr.s Montage...http://media.putfile.com/Drs-Montage
Mexican Bus "pro DSM vid...http://videos.streetfire.net/p...92395
And no worries... a pro CRX/ Honda vid will be done sooner or later
As for my question... I am loking into lexan windows. Quality is a must. I know FAL has some for sale, but I was wondering if anyone on here knows of another place. And I would only be doing the back half of the car

Thanks. I have not had a Honda since my Accord a few years back. There is a pic of it on the first half of my webpage if anyone wants to have a look. Current plans are gonna be a b series motor. I already have SDS stand alone engine managment and Nitrous express. I am locating a manifold now.
right now I have a little 84 Cabriolet 8 valve. Shaved head. Port work done my f2uning http://www.f2uning.com . car also has a cam, cam gear, exh, springs ect ect. I was actually surprised that the car is faster than my 90 GTI, and it had nos and a 96 x flow swap.
cabby

GTI

I am doing the best I can to stay withing a 4 g budget. I do most the mork myself and have a freind that does all my fabrication of stuff... manifolds piping and tuning est. So as lon as I am strict I am fine. that is where this window thing comes in. I want them to look good but do not want to pay too much to lose some weight

Power to weight ratio is where it is at. Me and a freind of mine did a Fiat x/19 with a d16 in it. Car weighs a bit over 1,400 lbs and made 156 to the rear wheels... that generates to a low 12 second car.. NA. But overall I guess it boils down to, how far are you willing to go. I have seen street legal cars with acid dipped chassis.. floors cut out and carbon fiber in place...fiberglass doors ect.
To shed some more light as to what I am doing.. I am building a barely legal street car. No bumpers, no interior, legan windows in the back half... door beams removed ect. granted it is not for some or very comfortable, but I cannot afford to drok 8gs into a motor. So, make it lighter. Removing the weight also makes it so there is less stress on the running gear. Less weight to get moving.
