Door Mirror Replacement
Hi guys,
Today I discovered that my car was missing a passanger side door mirror. My best guess is that somebody did not like it
The mirror was broken off completely. Fortunately, the door and the mount seem to be okay.
The full price for the mirror is about $60. However, I am still not sure if I can replace it myself. Any thoughts?
Thank you,

Easy just pry off cover on adjustment stick inside car. Unscrew the mechanism. Pry off triangular interior cover. Unscrew three mounting screws for mirror and the exterior mirror should come right off. Sometimes it sticks in place because of it's age but a small tap should loosen after all screws are removed.
hey
no, you do not have to remove the door panel.. there is a small triangular panel about 4" x 4" that covers up the bolts to the mirror, and there are three phillips screws underneath that to unbolt the mirror.

Hi, I'm having a similar problem with my '97 Civic (4 door sedan/EX)... I got my replacement side mirror, but I couldn't remove the plastic triangular panel. I didn't use much force because I was afraid I might break it... are there any clips or something holding it in place?

that has power mirrors doesnt it? it should just pop off. just stick a small flathead under teh edge until you hit a clip and push against that clip/lift up on it.

It works! Finally after a week of driving around without my passenger side mirror. I didn't realize how much I use it until I'd broken it!
