door trim removal

Default door trim removal

how is the best way to remove door trim from an 88 hatch without breaking anything?

you need to remove all of the various screws from around the panel first! from memory there will be two on the door handle/ window switch surround, one below the mirror (top inside corner) two holding the pocket (either end) two for the speaker cover, two or more behind the speaker cover, one in the door pull, and one on the outer edge next to b pillar!

Once they are all removed you should be able to pop the panel off all round the edges and slide upwards to release the top edge nearest the window pane!

well forbesy from scottland, im talking about the door trim on the outside of the car, not the door panels on the inside. but thanks for the info

dood, remove the screws, and pull.. i know first time is hard, you might be nervous, you might be worried to pull to hard, to soon... we understand.. GO FOR IT... it takes a lot, but thats how it is..
