Default Front End Conversions????

i have found a 94 hatch cx that needs a front end, i was wondering if i could use the 96-00 radiator core support instead of the 92-95 one?

Because of the new support, i could bolt on the 96-98 right?

Could i bolt on a 99-00 front?

thanks
Stephen

Geeesh, he didn't ask for opinions guys. Anyway, that still won't be a bolt-on affair. The fenders will have to custom fabbed to start.

What I've heard is that you use half of the EG fender (door side) and half of the EK fender (bumper side) and weld / shape them together. I'm definately no body guy so I can't tell you how hard that is.

Actually what I said was in no way derogatory to your post... All I did was laugh at a witty post made by another member. Therefor, you sir are the dumbass! BTW: good luck with the conversion, not my cup of tea but it takes ***** to do something like that. And it takes even more skill to do it right.

I've seen this done before on both EG hatches and Del Sol's.. I'd recomend not doing it but whatever float's your boat.

Also, Don't take to heart what people say on here to heart. It seems you got a little jumpy with 2 of the nicest people. Calm down and then come back.

In all, chances are you'll pay more for the conversion than if you were to just get some jdm EG fenders and a CF hood/lip and a new bumper from Certifit.

I've seen conversions done, both good and bad. Yes, to do it right you have to cut the fenders and weld them together. That's just the easy part. The hard part is cutting the fenders so they match. I've seen people who just lay body filler over the EK fender to blend in with the EG profile along the door.

There's really no easy way unless you can find the guy out in California who made fiberglass fenders for this conversion. I can't remember who he is, but I've seen him on here before.

And uh.. if you keep up with your smart *** remarks, you will become the *** of H-T and no one will want to help you.
