Default Boring Out B16A Throttle Body

What' the most you can bore out a B16A throttle body? I was told 63mm anyone here different?

My god I hope this question doens't mean you are going to attempt to do it yourself!? Have a profesional machine shop do it if you are going to have it done, or just buy a bored out TB. The machine shop down the street from my work bores em out for mustanges, they have a cutting tool like a little arm on the end of a rod that they center in the intake opening and mill the TB out to the desired size. Then they machine a new TB plate out of titanium to replace the old one.

You say they make a new throttle plate for it which I understand. Do they need to also make a new throttle shaft to hold the new plate? Or do they use the original one?

Or if you can find one, Ive heard the GSR TB is like 66 or 68mm, and is a direct bolt on I believe.

No, the GSR tb is 60mm just like the B16a2. The maximum is 64-65mm overbore

talkin about throttle bodies.,my friend can port throttle bodies and the intake manifold.

just take it to a local machine shop, probably cost you around $50 at the most
