Boring Out B16A Throttle Body
My god I hope this question doens't mean you are going to attempt to do it yourself!? Have a profesional machine shop do it if you are going to have it done, or just buy a bored out TB. The machine shop down the street from my work bores em out for mustanges, they have a cutting tool like a little arm on the end of a rod that they center in the intake opening and mill the TB out to the desired size. Then they machine a new TB plate out of titanium to replace the old one.
You say they make a new throttle plate for it which I understand. Do they need to also make a new throttle shaft to hold the new plate? Or do they use the original one?
