I just finished installing my swap today and there was smoke coming out of the exhaust really fast in neutral

I know for sure i need a valve adjustment, anyone know if this is the reason why?. it has new gasket and seals.

also, i took the car for a test drive and the car would feel as if im pushing the clutch in and out, kind of when you take off too slow. but in all gears.

could it be a plug problem? i think everything is connected right. BTW. i have a 95 b18b1 on a 98 teg. if it matter

 

i think we need more information... and the smoke thing is probably not a good thing. Do you know if the motor was good before you installed it?

Exactly. You need to check the condition of everything you buy before you go through with the purchase.

 

everything is built. brand new. rings to valve seals.

also, did i mention, i have a 94 ls on a 98?

are the manifolds the same? im thinking some plugs might be different, it also seems like i have a GSR harness
