any clue how much a d series tranny weights?

just curious, for shipping purposes obviously. And think UPS would take it packaged in a box?

looking into sites that ship trannies and engines and there shipping charges are around 75 dollars.

me too, i definately remember picking one up and carrying it with one hand, and I only weigh 160... must have been the wheaties that morning

that sounds about right to me. I just lifted one a couple weeks ago. If it's over 70 pounds you have to pay an extra fee with UPS. and another fee for an odd-shaped package if it's not in a box.
