Having the lower tie bar.. usage?
Pretty much the same as all tie-bars, just in a lower location. It ties together the suspension for less flex in the chassis under cornering. There are lower fronts and lower rears, and depending on how the car is originally set up from the factory (wish bone, etc) will depend on the effect of the bar being placed/installed.
the only way they can be used to there full potential is if you weld the brakets to the subframe so they do not move or flex when driving. BTW dont get any Spoon tie bars, had mine on for about 2 days before i bent them, with a 1.5inch drop.
Minor bit of advice... you might want to try loosening the lca bolts where the bar attaches before you buy it. If you get the bar then find out the bolts are seized, you're in for a world of frustration. Just a thought
