Spoon throttle body for ITR, worth it?

Is there another good and possibily cheaper alternative?

Cheaper? Yes, stock. You won't gain much unless you can USE the larger diameters potential (assuming you went 70mm all the way through). I think the Spoon is a good choice for someone with a B16 in search of an upgrade. For an ITR, nope.

Isn't the Spoon T.B. cheaper then the OE ITR T.B??
At least I was under this impression..

spoon is 485.00 at jdm honda thats shipped. i'm sure R&D can do the same if not better. stock is 536.00 at acura carland

If you have a stock ITR t.b the spoon is not worth it
If you are upgrading from a B16 or B18 or some other TB it is worth it
It offers better throttle response!

The spoon is not 70MM strait thru
The opening is 70mm and then tapers down to the factory
diamiter at the butterfly
so what i am trying to say is they DO NOT change the size of the butterfly

I love my spoon!
I had to get a new TB when i put on the ITR IM
and got the spoon for the same price as a new ITR TB

Yes! They just make a velocity stack and call it a day. But, if the IM is the bottleneck, accelrating the air does nothing for you.
