I was driving the other night going around a corner... slowed down cause the light was red... still had a moment... so I went anyway's in second.. gave it gas and the rpm's didn't move I was gaining momentum super slowly... so I shifted into 1st.. gave it gas... and still the same momentum, then I shifted back into second... then nothing.. So I went to put it into thrid, realsed clutch, my foot not even fully on gas.. and the rpm's just shot up to.... about 7500Rpm.. on a stock d16z6 , but I was in thrid..... clutch was all the way down.... but My car didn't chirp move or anything... So I just pulled over, and turned off car, and started from 1st and it was all fine minus the smell of mad burning oil in my car. The whole time I was going about 20km/h

anyone have a clue?

 

you SURE you were in the gears you said you were in? sounds like (3-4) then when you went to 3rd you were in 1st

 

nope.... I'm positive, I was so confused I had time to look down at the shifter just to double check lol, even my girlfriend was confused?

My grandpa told me it could have been that the fuel didn't burn off, he said the engine flooded it self then burned off after

 

to me it sounds like your clutch is sliping

 

Yea either your clutch is slipping crazy like or your shifting forks could be so far bent it feels like first but is third? just an idea

 

I don't think it has anything to do with the clutch.. this only happend once... I heard it could be vapour lock..
