Default Old Gas Or Old clutch causing bogg?

Hello everyone, well i have a 94del sol with a d15b7 motor. I haven't driven my car for approximately 2 weeks and its been sitting in my garage in the cold with half of tank of gas. Well today was kind of nice out since the roads weren't filled with dirt or salt or ice so i decided to take my car out for a little spin. And as i was driving i noticed when i would press the pedal a little bit down more for more gas the car started to bogg down and than kick back up again, it did this in every gear. And before i even drive my car i always warm it up to operating temperatures before i drive it. But anyways i went to a gas station and filled my car up full and noticed the bogging down stopped. But than again my clutch feels like a feather when i press down on it, can gas that sits long in the cold go bad? or do you think i need to replace my clutch?

is it easy to get your car in gear after you press the clutch in??if it is, then its not your clutch....

most often it would be the gas...

You say the car has been sitting for 2 weeks, how long has that tank of gas been in there? IMO 2 weeks is way too soon for gas to go bad, at a month old I might consider it suspect.

But I don't see how a clutch could cause the motor to bog down, they like to slip when they're done which would be the opposite.

FYI if you want to see bad gas put some in a sturdy plastic or glass container (something you can see through) and set it out in your garage or wherever. Then wait and see how long it takes to turn bright yellow (at least that is what mine does here in cali, but you should notice some sort of color change).

Gas ain't that old.Throw some heet in that there gas tank, cold weather to warm weather causes moisture. Did you check your level in your master cylinder for your clutch?

my level in my master cylinder is fine, and sometime when i first start my car it is hard to put it in first gear, but when it is in operating temperture it goes right in without a hassle.

change your oil in tranny.......and did you happen to look at the master cylinder seal from the inside? check to see if there is fluid coming from there. It might not be leaking presently because of build up of dirt,etc....just check to see if there is anything out of the ordinary down there.had the same problem;replaced the master cylinder and clutch feel was like night and day.

it would take significantly longer than 2 weeks for gas to go badly, I had a car I weould store outside under a tarp for winter months, and it would start and run fine on gas that sat in sub zero temperatures for 4 months
