Default h22 civic dyno

well just got the car put together on wed. put all the body panels n stuff on thursday night. took it to the track on friday... after the track my buddy has a dyno ... it put down 176 whp on a mustang dyno with a ebay mugen?!?! p28 (its a buddies.. not mine). mods are as follows... h22 type s pistons, eagle rods, UR crank pulley, removed balance shafts, S2S2 cams, rocket valvetrain, euro r manifold, stock tb (for now... 68mm on the way), RMF custom header, 2.5" exhaust. keep in mind stock usdm p13 no tune. its running lean, it loses 15-20 whp when vtec kicks in... then it builds.. and makes power all the way to the rev limiter... needs tuning ASAP

i put stock p13 on the end of the first post... but this pull was with the mugen chip. the p13 made like 3 whp less... so they printed out this mugen plot. hence why vtec hit at like 4500 rpms

It's not the ECU, Take it to a place that can tune your engine at it's peak performance for you. It's your combustion ratios that are killing you and you'll need a 3'' pipe with H22's.

What pipe needs to be 3", exhaust, or intake?

I wouldnt just blindly slap on a 3" exhaust system and call it a day. Have you ever heard of exhaust gas velocity, or the exhaust gas scavenging effect? Too big and the leading exhaust gas pulse won't be able to pull the following pulse with it.

W000000W! go ***** out... get a 6" smoke stack off of a tractor trailer, that should help your combustion ratios... lol

My Brother had a Civic Ex 2dr '94 H22

Mods:
-Ebay intake CAI
-Custom Header (something like Hotshots but its not MandrelBend)
-Euro R IntakeManifold
-Webcams ST-1 (shitti cams)
-Port&Polish HEAD
-2.5" Exaust w/ OBX muffler (Greddy EVO Style)
-No Balance Shaft
-ECU = Uberdata
-Stock ShortBlock

the Car pull out on a DynoJet 209whp @ 164wtq, the car can put some WHP more but we havent tune the ECU yet on the dyno, just on street, we havent go to the 1/4 mile yet, because the tranny its OWNED right now, hehe

Before the HEAD mods. the car pull out on the DynoJet 185whp
before the HEAD modifications the car Runs 13.6@102mph on the 1/4 mile

AND YEAAAH WE ARE FROM PUERTO RICO!!!
