I'm a little confused about this EG and EJ thing. I at first thought that all 92-95 civics were labled as EG's But now i see many people calling the EJ's. I have a 95 Civic coupe I am not sure what it should be labled as. Can someone please explain these terms to me and what cars they apply to, thanks

Easy way to tell:

Sunroof - EJ1
No sunroof - EJ2

EJ1s in the US are EXs
EJ2s are DXs.

You can always check your VIN.

 

yea, i believe its the 4th-6th digits of your VIN

Yes. 3 doors (hatches) are EH's. Del Sols and 4 doors are EG
