eg or eh: what the diff?
Sorry guys, i am anewbie to civics. I just went togo check out a 92 canadian civic cx (with a sweeeet vinyl interior :hamartedmer: ). The serial # started with 2 hg eh .... Is it an eh. And whats the difference between eg and eh????

eh is the code for 92-95 civics in North America…eg is the code for the Japanese 92-95 civics

The EG and EK refer to JDM chasis codes.......people just have too much trouble with the EH thing.
If you VIN has EH then you have a 92-00 Hatch.
Now when people say EG they are refering to the 92-95's and of course EK is the 96-00's.
