Default Garret T3/T4 57 Trim .60 A/R

Garret T3/T4 57 Trim .60 A/R

Quick question, search came up with nothing i can use.

What hp does this turbo top out at?

Im running it at 9psi on a stock ls. Over winter, Sleeving block, je 9:1 84mm pistons, eagle rods, arp head studs. Still deciding on who will do it but head will be ported, supertech valvetrain, and crower 404 cams. max rev manifold, and 3" maxrev dp.

But thats not really important, i just need to know what the turbo can take and at what point it needs to be upgraded.

Also have a garrett 60 trim .93 a/r sitting around, how much more hp is this turbo capable of?

The highest that this turbo is capable of is about 430-440whp. that is maxed out at about 18-20 psi in terms of efficiency. you can throw more boost at it if you'd like, but you'll just heat up the cylinders and increase the pressures on it. It's already reached its surge limit and has gone supersonic by then.

the 57trim is capable of 500 flywheel hp.......atleast thats what garret rates them at........so you looking at a max of around 450whp or so.....but it will take you 20psi or more to get there.
