help picking turbo on a b20a
I cant decide from a t3/to4e 60 trim w/ .82a/r or should i get the t4 60-1. I am using a b20a prelude motor. 81mm bore with 9:1 comp. I have forged pistons/rods. Head has a port and polish, crower dual springs, titiaum retainers, stock valves, and stock cams. I will also be picking up a zdyne gold ecu.
I am looking for whp in the 400-450hp range.
thanx

Neither. The T3/60-1 would suit you perfectly. The T3/T4 even with the .82 would be stretching for your HP goal... The T4/60-1 IMO is too large for your application. Do the T3/60-1 with like, a .63 and you'll be good to go.

Personally, I like the T3/T04E with teh following specs:
.82 A/R
Stage III
.60 A/R
60 Trim
This turbo can easily support 500 whp. With 9.0:1 CR you should have full boost by 4000-4500 rpms. You will have way more top end with a .82 A/R then with the .63 A/R turbine housing. The T04E compressor is more efficient than the 60-1 also by 2-3%.
