Default clutch problem plz help need to fix asap and its cold in wisconsin

Ok guys I need your help... I think I know what the problem is but I want to make sure before I buy some parts

tranny is hard to get into gear and it sounds like the clutch disk grinds when I put it into gear with the clutch pedal to the floor at like 40 going into 2nd gear... and to make matters worse now when I push the clutch in it hangs in gear for like 2-4 sec before it come off the while I have the pedal to the floor

What I think it is that the clutch is gone... one of the springs broke and that’s why its hanging up but what do you think

any info would be great thx again

Where in Wi are you located Im in Racine, I might be able to take a look at it for you depending where you are tomarrow.

If your talking about the Extreme parts in Racine there good guys there and will take care of you.

There the ONLY local place I'll ever buy parts from everyone else in town is looking to rip you off in my experiance.

Sounds like there's a fluid leak somewhere in the hydraulic system which won't let the clutch engage/disengage completely and it's slipping... if it's an older clutch the springs might be broken as well or the clutch is worn out and the metal pins on the disc are grinding at the flywheel... check your clutch master and slave cylinders for leaks and if none then open up the tranny and see what's up..
