B-Series Starter Question?
Hey does anyone know the dimensions of
the two bolts in the picture below:
Dealers around my way needs 5-days to get it in.
I was going to put my swap in and have the other one pulled.
Could i use my old D-series starter bolts or could I pick up some from
a hardware store just temporarily? Old engine is out of car and i was hoping
to put the new one in this weekend so i could stop taking the damn bus......
Anyone want to give me a hand???
Im located in the NY/NJ area ... willing to pay & feed you???
My zip is 10954 and i am like 20 mins from GWB.
Thanks so much H-T
hey man id help u out if i lived closer. You can use the mounting bolts from the d series. I put an Ls into my hatch 2 weeks ago and used the bolts. If u have the motor pulled and u have the b series layin aroung y dont u just check to make sure?
the engine all loosen and hanging on just the mounts could be back together or out in about 1hr. my b-series engine is at my buddy's house. i will try it out when i get home for sure cause that would save me alot of headache. Could i come to you to help me with the swap? How much would i have to pay? Just and FYI its an auto engine and i need to mount flywheel, clutch, & pressure plate. I do have all mounting hardware. get back to me stevejc@optonline.net I wanted to do it this weekend. PM you number maybe we can talk and work something out....
