vibration through brake pedal when cold?

vibration through brake pedal when cold?
Lately I've been hearing a whirring like a pump or maybe belt from the engine bay and I can feel the vibration through the brake pedal. It only does it from a cold start and it goes away as soon as it warms up. Any ideas?
