Default Block Heaters

THe last board I posted this question, no one knew the answer so hopefully you guys have the answer....I'm looking to buy a b16 or ZC which ever one I can afford at the time and do they come with block heaters?? if they don't, can I take the block heater off of my DX and put it in my new engine??

My B16A didn't have block heaters...I would assume they're not really needed in the JDM market. The same probably applies for the ZC. Where/how are the block heaters mounted on your DX?

I believe my block heater is in my oil pan and when I plug it in the element warms up the oil...thats what someone told me...I don't know if its true...It does matter if I have a block heater because it gets as cold as -4 degrees F(-30C) for short periods of time here, and when it gets that cold my car runs like ****!!

Call the dealer. It's an option, and they should be aware if it's available for your engine.
