Has anyone replaced a distributor bearing on an F22A1?
My bearing is bad. It's making a high pitch squealing noise, not all the time, but every once in a while for a few seconds.
I really don't want to spend the money to get a whole new distributor.
Can I just replace the bearing? I found a bearing online for $20.

On ebay, I found a Distributor Bearing Shaft Assembly for $50. It's for an Accord, but I think it will work on my car too.

There are warning bells going off in my head over this; for several reasons.
1) Honda doesn't offer these pieces seperately
2) You didn't give year and model so I'm running blind
3) Honda offers two distributors (according to application). One manufactured by Denso (I believe), and the other by Tek. I do NOT know what is common to both.
You may be buying a "bill of goods" off EBay

just replace the distributor housing and you're set. BTW I tried several bearing suppliers and none of them had the correct bearing for it double check the zise that is on the sides.
