Default clutch drop

so last night leaving my girlfriends my clutch dropped when shifting from 1st to 2nd and basically lost all pressure and stuck to the floor.

after freaking out for a second thinking "WTF and i gunna do?" i pulled the pedal back out with my toe and i instantly had perfect pressure. i drove 25 miles home and never had a single problem.

this morning is was rather cold and i pushed in my clutch to start the car and noticed it was a little weak, so i opened the hood and noticed that the reservoir was low on fluid. i could still see fluid but the little bobber was barely floating. so i filled up the reservoir, and i had full pressure once again.

I searched and found lots of posts on this issue, many seem to be related to the master cylinder but was a problem which people having this problem reoccur. Do you guys think this is my problem or did i just let my fluid get low? Should i play it by ear right now?

Well if your fluid got low, it has to be leaking somewhere. I'd check around the hoses, master cylinder and slave cylinder for leaking fluid.
