well i just picked up a complete b1612 swap.. and i also have a type r complete intake manifold with tb, and type r cams.. do you guys think it would make a noticable hp gain putting the type r cams and intake manifold as opposed to the stock cams and intake manifold?

You'll probably get nothing from the intake manifold. B16 and ITR manifolds are just about the same thing. The only hp gain that you'll get swapping the cams, but it's most likely not going to be anything drastic. You'll most likely need some sort of tuning to actually see an improvement.

The stock ITR cams, manifold and TB are a nice set up for a B16A. It is not going to give you HUGE power gains, but you have the parts, all your talking about is the installation, and you are set -I'd say go with it for sure.
The cams are going to give you the largest gain out of them all, but all parts added to the B16A in the combination will make it for a nice set up.

Good luck.
