Does or has anybody seen a 99-00 hood raised up with washers in the back. to make it stand up about a inch taller. I guess air comes in and cools motor better also. I dont know my buddy told me there was a pic on here but i did not see it.

i did this to my car but not that much maybe 1/4 of an inch i have a cf hood its aight

 

it is helpful if you gave itb's, otherwise it is for looks and to show you cant line the hood up normally so you prop it up

 

supposedly, it's the cheap way to help flow extra air through your engine bay without buying a vented hood. so the hot air up at the top of the engine bay has some where to go so it helps to get that extra heat out. would also be helpful with turbos.

Ok well what if since I have the lsvtec and that sticks way the hell up, I am just doin it, so I dont bust another carbonfiber hood that cost 500 bucks a pop. my buddy on here told me it looks good, and he aint no ricer. nor am.
