K20 into a 1992 honda civic? Possible?
Hi im sorta new at upgrading cars and this is the first time i'm actually ever gonna actually attempt an engine swap if it's even possible on this car so if anyone can help me out i'd really appreciate it and also what kind of tranny should i use with the k20 if it is possible. PS i am willing to make modifications to the car if unable to fit the engine with just new motor mounts etc. and can u plz provide me with a website where i can purchase a k20? thank you once again

Since we share the same name, i'll give you a break...
parts list
-engine/ trans
-engine harness
-axles (custom)
-PNP harness
-mounts
-fuel pressure regulator
-fuel lines
-custom clutch line
-karcepts shifter plate
-shifter box
-shifter cables
-custom header (DTR, RMF, Hasport, DC Tsx header)
-might as well change clutch
-Hondata KPRO (might as well)
-ep3 radiator, rsx, or aftermarket radiator
-custom radiator hoses
thats all i can think of right now You're going to be looking at close to 8-9000$ for all the parts. You can do it a lot less with making your own ****, waiting for deals and what not. When all is said and done, its gonna cost me like 6000 i think but i was able to get good deals on my ****.

yo daniel, good idea on the k20 swap, it'll be fast as ****!
best tranny to use is probably going to be the 5 speed honestly, people hate the feel of the 6.
you'll usually get the engine / tranny / stock header / ECU / stock harness and mounts with a full swap purchase from somewhere like http://www.hmotorsonlone.com .
this is a good first place to check out, k20a.org is good too, just search around at both places, hundreds of people have done this swap now, if not thousands, so there is already tons of support for it.
good luck, and satan-speed
lolz
