Car shutting off, what could it be??
hey guys i have a 94 ls turbo motor btw......but im driving last night and the car shuts off when im about to go past 3500 rpm.....i try to start it many times and it doesnt start, it was cranking and the fuel pump was on........then i take off the wires from the dizzy and valve cover and put them back on and the car starts......then it works fine again.......then i come to a stop light......and i start to go and the car turns off again.......i repeat what i did by taking off the wires off the dizzy and valve cover and the car goes.........what should i replace??
right now as of now i have wires/plugs/cap/rotor....all which i need to put on
oh yeah....when i checked for spark when the car first broke down it had none, help would be appreciated....thanks guys

That's very strange, as taking the wires out and putting them back on really doesn't change anything.
What other modifications do you have in your turbo LS? Ignition/Electrical system mods? Fuel? Any codes being thrown? Since your wires/plus/cap/rotor are so easy to install, I would just do that first. When was the last time they were changed?

i really dont even know when they were changed i JUST got the motor and im changing all that today......i have 440 injectors, 255 walbro, tuned with crome....its wierd
i think its the fuel pump going........sometimes when i turn the key the fuel pump wont turn on then other times it will.......and it breaks up top end.......the kid who had this motor in his car b4 me had bigger fuel lines he said im not sure if that makes a difference.......but anyway i think tuning will fix this......when i hit high rpm's it has to be the fuel pump shutting off.........i have a feeling.....any comments thanks
ok i dont know what the expletive it is, its driving me crazy....i replaced wires, cap, rotor......and now car is sputtering while i accelerate ahhhhhhhhhh running even worse than b4.......
