Default Random starting problem

ok im having this problem with my car starting, i would say it starts about 95% of the time and never starts when i need it to, so today i go 2 start it, wont start let it sit start talking to myself. Go and crack the fuel bleeder bolt thing and no fuel comes out. So i say must be the fuel pump maybe fuel filter, try to start it wont start, then i listen if the fuel pump is priming it did so i let it sit then after about 2 minutes it starts, im thinking main relay, fuel pump, i have a b16 in 92 cx. i searched this came up with no similar problems.

try this, get some fuel line, and tee it into your pressurized fuel system, probably easiest right at the sending unit under the seat (the engine bay is either hard lines or special fittings which are impossible to tee into with simple clamps.

so you have a branch coming off your fuel line on the pressurized side.

now go to autozone, and get a $3.98 dial type tire pressure gauge, the cheaper ones have a rubber tire thing on the outside of the gauge, they should be on a rack by the cash register.

unscrew the chrome thing that plugs into the tire's valve stem on the gauge, so all you have left is a dial gauge with a male threaded brass thing, and a fat pin sticking out of it. clamp the threaded part into the new branch of the fuel line with a screw-type clamp. you can use the plastic T fittings found at autozone, i have had one on my truck for over 3000 miles now and nothing bad has happened, no leaks, it wont eat that plastic.

now you know your fuel pressure, let the **** prime and see where its at, that'll tell you if your pump is bad, also it'll be good to just check the whole system and see where you're at, and its ******* $5.00 total, SWEET.

hope that helps you get somewhere.
